Elderly woman found stabbed to death in Menglembu; daughter with psychiatric history detained

A r/Malaysia post shares a report that a 70-year-old woman was found dead with a stab wound to her chest at Lorong Kledang Utara 6, Taman Wang, Menglembu near Ipoh on 27 September. Perak police chief Datuk Mohd Alwi Zainal Abidin said her 49-year-old daughter, who has a history of mental health treatment, is believed to have killed her and has been detained. Police received a report from the victim's son-in-law at about 7pm.
