JIM raid on scam call centre in Sungai Lembing: 98 detained, Starlink and computers seized

An Immigration Department (JIM) special operation detained 98 individuals at a closed resort in Sungai Lembing, Kuantan, believed used as a syndicate call centre to avoid detection, after a month of surveillance. Seized: 100 phones, 120 desktop computers, 11 Starlink sets and travel documents. The site owner was reportedly also caught; rent about RM30,000 a month.
