From the evening of 6 October into the 7 October morning peak, Kelana Jaya line riders report long waits and 2-car trains too full to board, with the next 4-car set arriving after a 6-minute gap toward Gombak and a door not functioning. A rider at Dang Wangi describes a train held so long they were late, a Setiawangsa commuter waits three trains before boarding, and a Selayang commuter says dependence on the line is now a voting issue.
