Senai records air quality above 160 AQI as haze persists into 8 October evening

A commuter at Senai Airport reported an AQI reading above 160 at 8PM on 8 October as haze continued over Johor. The reading adds to the day's deterioration in the state, which had already disrupted flights at the airport and closed schools statewide. No MetMalaysia or DOE statement is cited.
