A 21-year-old motorcyclist allegedly rode through a road closure and travelled against traffic before crashing into two Standard Chartered Kuala Lumpur Marathon 2026 participants early on 3 October. A preliminary breath test recorded an EBA reading of 164mg/100ml. Kuala Lumpur traffic police chief confirmed the incident. The runners' conditions are not stated.
