Users question WhatsApp 'free WiFi 7 router upgrade' messages sent in TIME Internet's name

Subscribers on two subreddits share a WhatsApp message offering a free WiFi 7 router with the RM80 installation fee waived if they renew their contract for 24 months, asking whether it is a scam. Whether the messages are genuine TIME Internet marketing or an impersonation attempt is not clear; TIME has not commented.
